Materials and Durability
The internal frame is made of engineered hardwood, reinforced with metal screws at the joints. The seat cushion support utilizes a Sytex webbing suspension system; the cross-woven webbing distributes stress evenly and quietly. The seat cushion is filled with HR 2.0 lb high-resilience foam, covered with a feather-blend lining for a “soft seating feel”—the webbing provides even cushioning, while the foam and feather layers create a soft, sinking embrace. The backrest is filled with the same feather-blend lining, designed for relaxed rebound. The fabric has undergone 50,000 Martindale abrasion tests, demonstrating excellent durability. All foams meet flame-retardant standards, and the feathers are cleaned and disinfected.
