Case Description

The primary office furniture for Wistron Software’s headquarters was supplied by our factory.

We provided Wistron Software with a comprehensive, custom-tailored office furniture solution covering a wide range of areas: large-scale Agile development clusters, information security-controlled zones, multi-dimensional technical support centers, and digitized administrative shared spaces. Our key products include highly integrated modular workstations, confidential workstations featuring dual physical and digital shielding capabilities, adaptive ergonomic support systems, and large-span seamless collaboration tables. By deeply integrating the rigorous logic of a top-tier IT service provider with the process aesthetics of a CMMI Level 5 organization, we achieved a delicate balance between high-standard regulatory compliance and R&D personnel efficiency within a space characterized by a profound sense of order.

The primary challenge inherent in the project’s background lay in reconciling the extremely high standards for physical data security isolation—mandated by global IT outsourcing services—with the need to maximize spatial efficiency for a massive R&D team. The client’s specific pain point stemmed from their status as a leading technology vendor serving Fortune 500 companies; this required maintaining absolute physical and informational boundaries between different project groups, a requirement that traditional open-plan office layouts often fail to meet, as they are highly susceptible to visual and screen-based information leakage. Furthermore, given the extremely high density of R&D personnel, conventional furniture layouts would have resulted in reduced heat dissipation efficiency and uneven power load distribution. Consequently, the client urgently required a solution capable of establishing distinct security zones—leveraging the furniture itself rather than relying on physical walls—while simultaneously resolving the complex power redundancy issues associated with integrating large-scale, high-power computing equipment.

To address these challenges, our factory implemented a furniture technology featuring privacy-polarization guidance, alongside a high-density matrix energy management system. To meet security requirements, we developed composite material privacy screens integrated with a polarization-guidance coating; this material dynamically adjusts visual transparency based on the viewing angle—thereby protecting confidential screen content while preserving the open aesthetic of the workspace—and has successfully passed rigorous line-of-sight simulation tests designed to prevent information leakage. Regarding energy infrastructure, we introduced a furniture-integrated, dual-circuit independent power supply system; each modular workstation island is equipped with automatic overload protection and electromagnetic interference (EMI) harmonic filtering capabilities, effectively ensuring the purity and stability of the power supply within this precision-driven development environment. Finally, to support R&D personnel during long hours of high-intensity work, we customized a dynamic support chassis based on spinal pressure distribution algorithms; this system successfully passed 50,000 load-cycle durability tests without failure, ensuring precise ergonomic support regardless of the user’s sitting posture. The project results demonstrate that the custom-designed furniture has successfully transformed into the physical security foundation underpinning Wistron Software’s high-quality service framework, with its understated industrial aesthetic blending seamlessly with the brand’s signature color palette.

The client commended the manufacturer for translating information security management protocols into a furniture-based design solution, thereby delivering an office ecosystem characterized by robust defensive capabilities and scalable flexibility. This approach not only resolved the dual challenges of security and energy consumption inherent in a high-density R&D environment but also, through rigorous quality control, aligned perfectly with the enterprise’s exacting standards for ISO quality management systems. The primary spaces encompass high-security office zones, a digital R&D collaboration corridor, a technical support response center, and flexible functional support areas.
