Case description

All dining furniture within the main spaces of this exclusive business club—located in Bangkok—was custom-manufactured and supplied by our factory.

The project’s context was defined by the club’s location: situated around the central core of a high-rise building, the space featured exceptionally high ceilings and highly reflective acoustic surfaces. The client’s primary challenge lay in managing the acoustics during multi-party roundtable negotiations among high-net-worth business clientele; specifically, the intense acoustic reverberation within the space frequently compromised speech intelligibility. Furthermore, to preserve the atmosphere of high-end business privacy, the furniture was required to possess exceptional low-frequency sound absorption capabilities—without resorting to bulky, heavy upholstery—to prevent conversations from spilling out and being overheard.

To address this, we implemented a solution combining micro-perforated resonance absorption technology with a composite carbon fiber skeletal structure. We embedded a matrix of sound-dampening chambers—invisible to the naked eye—beneath the furniture’s wooden panels. Additionally, we utilized the high-damping properties of carbon fiber to replace traditional metal frames, thereby eliminating physical resonance at a microscopic level. The furniture underwent rigorous testing, including precise attenuation assessments for specific speech frequency bands and stability monitoring under high-stress conditions. This ensured that every set of negotiation tables and chairs—while maintaining a sleek, modern aesthetic—could effectively absorb ambient noise and acoustically isolate the conversation zone, performing much like professional acoustic panels.

The final results were outstanding. This custom furniture collection—seamlessly blending acoustic functionality with engineering aesthetics—perfectly aligned with the club’s high-end business positioning. It not only successfully created a sense of absolute acoustic privacy within the open-plan spaces but also earned high praise from the owner for its exceptional structural reliability during intensive business negotiations, validating our expertise in “functional aesthetic customization.”
