Case description

For the main dining area of ​​Narai Thai—a restaurant situated in Bangkok—all dining furniture was custom-manufactured and supplied by our factory.

The project’s context centered on the restaurant’s endeavor to strike a balance between a rich, traditional Thai royal aesthetic and the fast-paced demands of modern commercial operations. The core challenge lay in the fact that traditional Thai furniture—characterized by intricate carved textures—is highly prone to accumulating greasy residue and is notoriously difficult to deep-clean. Furthermore, given the restaurant’s specific, high-frequency usage of potent spices, standard furniture finishes were susceptible to cross-contamination of flavors and surface stickiness—issues that severely compromised the sense of hygiene essential to a premium dining experience. To address this, we developed a “Micro-crystalline Fully Sealed Defense System” and an “Odor Molecule Barrier Technology.” While faithfully preserving the complex physical contours of traditional Thai furniture, we applied an ultra-smooth, ceramic-like nano-finish featuring self-cleaning properties. Moreover, we subjected the furniture to rigorous testing—including 500-hour immersion tests to assess resistance against Thai spice penetration, as well as repeated residual odor detection—to ensure that the furniture retains its traditional aesthetic texture while possessing exceptional biological stain resistance.

The results following the project’s delivery were highly successful. Thanks to its exceptional ease of maintenance, the furniture suite significantly reduced the restaurant’s labor costs for cleaning and upkeep. It not only sustained the restaurant’s elegant and opulent visual image over the long term but also earned high acclaim from the brand for its consistently fresh and clean tactile quality, thereby successfully establishing Narai Thai as a benchmark dining venue that perfectly harmonizes traditional Thai aesthetics with modern hygiene standards.
