Case description
For the CasaTill vacation rental apartments in Chiang Mai—a space characterized by a modern and stylish aesthetic—our factory and integrated supply chain provided the complete suite of custom-made furniture and soft furnishings.
The project’s context was defined by Chiang Mai’s unique semi-humid mountain climate and the high turnover rate inherent to vacation rental properties. The owner’s primary challenge lay in the fact that traditional modern-style furniture, when exposed to high-humidity environments, is highly susceptible to odor accumulation and deep-seated mold growth. Furthermore, the high volume of guest traffic subjected carpets, mattresses, and decorative accents to extreme mechanical wear and the risk of deep-seated stains from substances such as coffee and red wine; conventional materials simply could not meet the rigorous operational and maintenance standards required for professional hospitality services while simultaneously preserving a stylish aesthetic.
To address these issues, we implemented a molecular-level antimicrobial impregnation technology alongside a hydrophobic fabric restructuring solution. We embedded nano-silver ion deodorizing modules within the core substrates of all custom-made furniture pieces, and applied a stain-resistant nanocoating—characterized by extremely low surface energy—to the surfaces of all carpets and decorative artworks featured in the project. These solutions successfully passed rigorous durability tests simulating one thousand consecutive deep-cleaning cycles, as well as broad-spectrum antimicrobial efficacy tests specifically targeting tropical fungal colonies, thereby ensuring that the interior lighting fixtures and mattress systems remain consistently odor-free and hygienic throughout their long-term use.
The final results were remarkable. This integrated spatial system—which seamlessly combines smart orthopedic mattresses, artistic linear lighting, and stain-resistant decorative installations—not only boosted the apartment’s daily cleaning efficiency by 60%, but also garnered high praise from the owner. They commended the products for their exceptional aesthetic appeal—which remains “good as new” even amidst challenging climatic conditions—and for demonstrating a robust resilience that ensures strong commercial operational viability.
