Within Patom—an eco-conscious lifestyle space located in Bangkok that emphasizes ecological balance—all dining furniture throughout the main area was custom-manufactured and supplied by our facility.

The project’s context is defined by the space’s use of a highly transparent, all-glass curtain wall structure. Consequently, the interior furniture is subjected to prolonged exposure to high-intensity, full-spectrum sunlight. The core challenge we faced was twofold: preventing severe cracking caused by the excessive evaporation of moisture from within the organic wood, and ensuring that the chemical emissions from the custom furniture met an absolute zero standard, thereby complying with the brand’s rigorous environmental criteria for organic certification.

To address this, we implemented a plant-cell-fluid displacement technique alongside a formaldehyde-free bio-resin encapsulation solution. Through deep-pressure infusion, we permeated the wood fibers with natural plant extracts to maintain internal stress equilibrium. Furthermore, we pioneered a surface-sealing process entirely free of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). This process successfully passed months of simulated testing under extreme greenhouse-like conditions—characterized by intense heat and dryness—as well as real-time, high-sensitivity air quality monitoring conducted by authoritative institutions. These measures ensured that the furniture maintained exceptional physical stability and remained completely odorless, even under direct sunlight.

The final results were remarkable. With its nearly pristine, natural texture, the furniture collection blended seamlessly into the lush, verdant landscape of the glass-enclosed space. Not only did its superior eco-friendly performance enable it to pass the strict acceptance protocols for an organic lifestyle environment, but its exceptional durability—demonstrated under extreme lighting conditions—also earned the client’s profound trust.
