Case Description

The primary office furniture for the Haier Group headquarters was supplied by our factory.

We provided Haier with a comprehensive, custom-tailored office furniture solution spanning their Smart Home Scenario R&D Laboratories, Global Ecosystem Partner Collaboration Hub, Digital Boundaryless Collaboration Zones, and Executive Strategic Decision-Making Spaces. Our key products include smart height-adjustable workstations equipped with IoT sensing capabilities, expansive seamless collaboration tables, acoustically optimized modular social units, and advanced ergonomic support systems. By deeply integrating Haier’s scenario-based thinking—central to its Smart Home philosophy—with modern office operational logic, we created a space characterized by both futuristic aesthetics and visual transparency, achieving a perfect balance between the spirit of ecosystem co-creation and highly efficient digital workflows.

A key challenge inherent in the project’s background stemmed from Haier’s status as a world-leading Smart Home ecosystem brand; its R&D processes place immense emphasis on the realistic simulation of user scenarios and the real-time co-creation of cross-functional teams. Traditional, fixed-layout office environments severely hindered the seamless, fluid transitions required among product managers, designers, and engineers. A critical pain point for the client was the presence of a vast array of smart appliance prototypes and sensor equipment distributed throughout the office areas; the resulting complex cable management requirements and multi-protocol signal coverage demands posed extreme challenges regarding both the physical storage capabilities and electromagnetic compatibility of the furniture. The client urgently required a flexible support system capable of dissolving the physical boundaries between furniture and equipment—one that could fluidly adapt to evolving R&D scenarios—in order to resolve the issues of physical interference and visual clutter inherent in large-scale collaborative environments.

To address these challenges, our factory implemented a furniture-integrated IoT control platform alongside a concealed, high-redundancy power distribution topology. To resolve the collaboration challenges, we developed an omnidirectional mobile workstation system featuring self-sensing balancing technology. This system enables R&D teams to reconfigure their workspace—shifting between circular or matrix layouts—within minutes, based on the specific requirements of their smart scenario experiments. Furthermore, the connecting components successfully passed rigorous structural strength tests simulating ultra-high-frequency layout reconfigurations. In terms of technical integration, we introduced furniture-embedded graphene-shielded cable channels and modular interface panels; these features effectively isolate office equipment from interfering with appliance sensor signals and have successfully passed stringent, specialized electromagnetic compatibility testing. Regarding material selection, we utilized ultra-durable, anti-fingerprint nano-composite fabrics—held to the same rigorous standards as Haier’s own appliance manufacturing processes. These materials successfully passed extensive stain-resistance and scratch-resistance trials (withstanding thousands of cycles), ensuring that the furniture retains its crisp, pristine visual aesthetic even under conditions of extremely high usage turnover. The project results demonstrate that the custom-designed furniture has successfully transformed into a physical touchpoint supporting Haier’s comprehensive smart innovation ecosystem; its minimalist, high-tech industrial lines perfectly align with the brand image of a global leader in smart home solutions.

The client commended the manufacturer for leveraging a profound understanding of IoT-driven workplace behaviors to deliver a dynamic office furniture system capable of evolving alongside their business ecosystem. This system not only resolved the spatial challenges associated with integrating large-scale experimental equipment but also—through its exceptional adaptability to diverse scenarios—significantly shortened the physical pathway from product R&D to testing. The primary spaces within the facility encompass a Smart Scenario Collaboration Hub, a Digital R&D Center, an Ecosystem Partner Interaction Zone, and a Comprehensive Brand Showcase Gallery.
