Case description

As a benchmark project for British countryside retreats, the Old Thorns Golf & Country Hotel in London faced a unique set of challenges during its renovation phase. These included structural limitations inherent to a century-old rural building, the difficulty of authentically recreating a vintage British pastoral aesthetic, the significant wear and tear resulting from high-frequency use by golf resort guests, a tight schedule typical of overseas renovation projects, and the inability of standard off-the-shelf furniture to match the spatial scale and vintage soft-furnishing tonality of the rural architecture. Consequently, all movable furniture and fixed custom cabinetry—spanning the hotel’s guest rooms, lobby lounge, vintage-style dining and banquet halls, outdoor courtyard relaxation areas, and wellness facilities—were independently designed, developed, and precision-manufactured by our own direct-source furniture factory, before being delivered and installed on-site via cross-border logistics.
