Amidst the azure seas and skies of the Seychelles, Canopy by Hilton Seychelles infuses the luxury resort experience with fresh vitality through its “industrial-natural” aesthetic—a style brimming with island energy. For this project, all loose furniture—including pieces for the tropical-themed open-air restaurant, the semi-outdoor terrace bar, the artistically designed Kids’ Club, and the ocean-view guest rooms featuring distinctive curved woven screens—was custom-manufactured and supplied exclusively by our factory.

The Seychelles’ extreme levels of salt spray, intense UV radiation, and seasonal torrential rains pose an “existential” challenge to resort furniture. The client’s primary concern was this: while the designers had extensively incorporated island-specific elements—such as natural wood, woven textures, and vibrant fabrics—the hotel’s predominantly semi-open layout raised critical questions. How could the furniture be protected against structural corrosion and wood mildew in a high-salinity environment? How could the vivid fabrics be prevented from rapidly fading under the fierce coastal sun? Answering these questions became the key factor determining the project’s long-term viability.

As a specialized manufacturer deeply attuned to the unique characteristics of island environments, we devised a bespoke “All-Weather, Marine-Grade Protection Solution.” For the uniquely shaped woven bar stools and outdoor loungers featured in the images, we eschewed natural materials in favor of our proprietary, highly flexible, UV-resistant synthetic fibers. Through meticulous hand-weaving, we achieved a perfect balance between authentic, organic aesthetics and exceptional longevity. For the guest rooms’ signature curved woven headboards and multi-functional desks, we applied a multi-layer, specialized weather-resistant coating system. Furthermore, all metal components underwent electrostatic powder coating to create a protective barrier that blocks salt penetration at the microscopic level. This rigorous testing of material resilience against extreme environmental conditions underscores our factory’s comprehensive strengths—spanning the entire value chain from R&D to manufacturing.
