Case description

Our factory provided the custom manufacturing and comprehensive supply of loose furniture for the key spaces at the Hyatt Regency Aqaba Ayla—including its minimalist, high-end guest rooms and suites, restaurants, public lobbies, corridors, and restrooms. As a premier resort hotel situated along Jordan’s Red Sea coast, the project faced distinct challenges during its initial stages: the hotel’s design centered on a modern minimalist aesthetic that required balancing a coastal resort ambiance with specific regional cultural characteristics—a feat that standard off-the-shelf furniture could not achieve in terms of precise textural quality and spatial proportioning. Furthermore, Aqaba’s unique environment—characterized by high temperatures, aridity, and saline mist—imposed extremely rigorous demands on furniture regarding weather resistance, corrosion resistance, and anti-aging properties; conventional materials were prone to issues such as deformation, fading, and cracking under these conditions. With guest rooms, restaurants, public areas, and restrooms serving vastly different functions, maintaining stylistic consistency across these diverse zones presented a significant challenge. Simultaneously, as an international brand property, the project demanded strict adherence to quality standards, eco-friendly and fire-retardant specifications, and delivery efficiency; relying on fragmented procurement sources would have risked inconsistent quality and project delays.
Leveraging our factory’s comprehensive in-house customization and production ecosystem, we delivered a systematic, end-to-end solution for the project. Closely adhering to the hotel’s minimalist-luxury design ethos, we crafted guest room and suite furnishings—including bed frames, storage cabinetry, and lounge seating—characterized by clean lines and robust structural stability. We selected skin-friendly, abrasion-resistant fabrics and warm, solid wood finishes to ensure a harmonious blend of comfort and aesthetic appeal. Furniture for the restaurants was designed with a focus on durability and ease of maintenance, featuring scratch-resistant, heat-resistant tabletops and sturdy structural frames. The lobby and corridor areas were enhanced with minimalist sofas and artistic side tables to elevate the spatial texture, while restroom furnishings were constructed using water-resistant and moisture-proof materials to withstand the humid environment. All materials underwent specialized treatments to ensure resistance against saline mist, cracking, and aging, strictly complying with international hotel standards for environmental safety and fire retardancy. By orchestrating the entire process—from design, prototyping, and production to final installation—we ensured a high degree of stylistic, tonal, and artisanal consistency across all spaces, guaranteeing an efficient and fully controlled delivery outcome.
Upon the project’s completion, the furniture collection demonstrated a sophisticated overall quality and minimalist aesthetic that seamlessly integrated with the hotel’s resort ambiance, while the functional layout proved both logical and comfortable. In the long term, the furnishings have maintained stable weather-resistant performance—remaining unaffected by high temperatures and saline mist—and have required minimal maintenance, thereby fully meeting the operational demands of a high-end luxury hotel.
