Situated in Riyadh’s bustling Olaya business district, the Hyatt Regency Riyadh Olaya stands as a highly recognizable landmark on the Saudi capital’s skyline, distinguished by its angular, modern architectural language. For this project, our factory undertook the deep customization and supply of all loose furniture—including pieces for the Sky View Lounge, the panoramic Executive Lounge, the art-inspired Lobby Lounge, and the Business Suites. The core challenge of this project lay in balancing a “sense of ultimate visual order” with the demands of “high-frequency business hospitality.” Given the hotel’s prime location, which hosts a multitude of high-profile business negotiations and social events, the designers mandated that the furniture lines be executed with surgical precision to harmonize with the building’s geometric aesthetics. However, Riyadh’s severe dusty environment—combined with the extremely low humidity levels caused by indoor air conditioning systems—posed a significant risk of micro-cracking in large-span wooden tabletops; furthermore, the intensive nature of business use placed exacting demands on the wrinkle resistance and abrasion durability of the light-colored fabric upholstery.

To address these specific pain points within this unique context, our factory applied a customization philosophy centered on “precision geometric engineering and high-performance finishes.” For the dining tables and bar counters featuring exceptionally long cantilevered spans, we employed an internal reinforcement structure utilizing aluminum honeycomb cores bonded with solid wood veneers. This technique allowed us to maintain a visual profile thickness of just a few centimeters while completely eliminating the risk of deformation caused by drastic fluctuations in environmental humidity. In the production of the modular sofas and armchairs for the lobby and lounge areas, we specifically introduced a “triple-protection, dual-weave” fabric technology. This material retains the soft, tactile feel of velvet while offering superior resilience against pressure marks and exceptional resistance to dust penetration, ensuring that the upholstery remains smooth and crisp even under constant, high-traffic usage throughout the day. Additionally, for the integrated functional cabinetry within the business guestrooms, we utilized high-precision CNC cutting technology to achieve ultra-tight joinery tolerances, seamlessly concealing power hubs and LED lighting channels within the woodwork—thereby fully demonstrating our factory’s technical support for the Hyatt brand’s “Smart Business” philosophy.
