In Charlotte—the “Queen City,” where financial prowess meets Southern elegance—the JW Marriott Charlotte stands as a radiant landmark on the city skyline, distinguished by a design philosophy that pays homage to art and artisanal craftsmanship. For this project, our factory undertook the deep customization and delivery of all loose furniture across the guest rooms, suites, lobby lounges, restaurants, and bars. The core challenge of this project lay in the interior design’s demand for an exquisite fusion of “royal textures and modern minimalism.” The designers made extensive use of intricate fabric patterns and rich metallic hues—inspired by the attire of Queen Charlotte herself—requiring the loose furniture to not only exhibit the refined texture of haute couture but also withstand the intense natural light streaming through the high-rise building’s floor-to-ceiling windows, thereby preventing dark lacquered surfaces from appearing visually uneven or fading under strong sunlight reflection.

To address these highly distinct aesthetic and functional requirements, our factory leveraged its robust capabilities in material integration and process innovation. For the large-scale custom sofas and artistic side tables in the public areas, we developed an exclusive “brushed-metal anti-oxidation coating technology,” ensuring that the brushed brass finish maintained its uniform luster even in high-intensity lighting environments—such as the Aura Rooftop Bar, which seamlessly bridges indoor and outdoor spaces. In crafting the furniture for Dean’s Steakhouse, where dark solid wood meets premium leather, we introduced micron-precision CNC edging and artisanal hand-pleating techniques to precisely translate complex fabric textures into the geometric details of the furniture pieces. Finally, for the multifunctional integrated workstations and daybeds within the guest rooms, we conducted rigorous, high-frequency physical fatigue testing to optimize the concealed structural hardware; this approach allowed the furniture to visually convey a sense of weightlessness—appearing to float above the floor—while possessing load-bearing capacities that far exceed industry standards.

The final delivery standard of this project perfectly embodies the spirit of artisanal craftsmanship synonymous with the JW Marriott brand.
