Case Description

As specialists in custom office furniture, we delivered a comprehensive furniture solution for the Linyi Aozheng Group headquarters project, encompassing executive offices, open-plan workspaces, a multi-functional conference center, and shared employee areas.

As a regional conglomerate with diversified business interests, Aozheng Group faced a core challenge: how to balance a sense of “corporate gravitas” with the “appeal to a new generation of talent” within their headquarters space. The client’s specific pain points were twofold: while traditional solid wood office furniture conveys a sense of substance, its rigid functionality struggles to accommodate the demands of a digitalized workspace; conversely, a fully open, modern design risks compromising privacy during business negotiations, while the intense light and heat generated by expansive floor-to-ceiling windows place extremely high demands on the structural stability of the furniture materials. Furthermore, the client placed a strong emphasis on visual coherence across the vast interior—seeking to avoid any sense of stylistic “fragmentation” between furniture designated for different functional departments.

We implemented a design strategy centered on a modular matrix framework and intelligent ergonomic solutions. For the executive suites and reception areas, we utilized a continuous-grain veneering technique—employing extra-long natural wood veneers—to ensure absolute visual continuity across furniture facades, thereby projecting the commanding presence befitting a corporate headquarters. In the open-plan workspaces, we designed integrated cable management systems and adaptive sound-dampening partitions to effectively mitigate noise while maintaining the spatial openness and transparency. To address the physical environment characterized by excessive natural light exposure, all furniture positioned near windows was treated with a UV-curable coating to enhance UV resistance, thereby preventing the fading and cracking often caused by prolonged exposure to sunlight. Additionally, we equipped the shared collaborative zones with height-adjustable smart workstations, significantly enhancing the health and comfort of the employees’ working environment.
