Case Description
The furniture for the headquarters office space of Nanjing Longxin Electronics Technology Co., Ltd. was supplied by our factory.
Our factory provided Longxin Electronics with a comprehensive, custom-tailored office furniture solution encompassing their East China headquarters building, New Energy Materials R&D Center, High-Precision Production Collaboration Zone, and Employee Vitality & Shared Spaces. Key products include modular workstations featuring an industrial aesthetic, high-precision electronics R&D benches, acoustic privacy pods, and ergonomic smart seating. By deeply integrating the metallic-technological texture characteristic of the lithium-ion battery copper foil industry with the green vitality of the new energy sector, we achieved a harmonious balance between the rigorous efficiency of manufacturing and a relaxed, engaging office experience within a highly innovative environment.
A primary challenge in the project’s background lay in how to mitigate the sense of mechanical oppressiveness often associated with traditional heavy manufacturing within a massive production facility, while simultaneously addressing the potential threat that fine dust particles and strong static electricity—inherent to R&D and production environments—pose to the longevity of office equipment. The client’s specific pain points stemmed from their status as a leading enterprise in the new energy sector: R&D personnel require prolonged interaction with high-precision electronic equipment, and—given the rapid expansion of their teams—traditional fixed furniture layouts were unable to accommodate the agility required for dynamic personnel mobility. Furthermore, due to the facility’s specialized production processes, the demands placed on the dust-proof and anti-static properties of the office furniture far exceeded those of standard administrative offices; the client urgently required a “smart space” solution that could simultaneously embody a stylish aesthetic and withstand the rigors of a demanding industrial environment.
To address these challenges, our factory implemented solutions featuring electromagnetic-dissipating materials and pneumatic, agile-expansion furniture systems. Tailored specifically for the industrial environment, we developed specialized surface finishes with static-dissipating properties, complemented by a fully enclosed, embedded cable management system designed to effectively shield internal circuitry from external environmental degradation; these solutions successfully passed rigorous surface resistivity tests and high-voltage static decay experiments. Regarding spatial flexibility, we introduced rail-mounted sliding desktops and quick-release magnetic privacy screens, enabling employees to freely reconfigure their collaborative boundaries within minutes to suit the evolving requirements of their research projects. To prioritize health and well-being, we utilized active mesh fabrics featuring dynamic pressure-dispersion technology; having successfully passed 100,000 cycles of high-frequency rebound and fatigue testing, these materials ensure that R&D professionals receive continuous physiological support while working within a vibrant, innovative environment.
The project’s outcome demonstrates that the custom-designed furniture successfully transformed into a physical platform supporting breakthroughs in core new energy technologies, with its vibrant color palette and metallic textures perfectly reflecting the distinct industrial identity of Longxin Electronics. According to the client, the design firm—drawing upon a profound insight into the characteristics of the new energy industry—delivered an office ecosystem that seamlessly blends robust technological support with human-centric appeal. This solution not only resolved the challenge of furniture susceptibility to interference within an industrial environment but also, through a highly flexible layout design, significantly accelerated the R&D team’s responsiveness to innovation. The primary spaces encompass the Headquarters R&D Command Hub, the Digital Collaboration Corridor, the Intelligent Manufacturing Office Zone, and the Multimodal Employee Social Center.
