As a renowned luxury landmark hotel situated along the coast of Barcelona, ​​Spain, the W Hotel faced a unique set of challenges during the renovation of its outdoor spaces. These included the intense UV radiation and corrosive salt spray characteristic of the Mediterranean coast; the rapid aging, fading, and deformation of furniture caused by constant exposure to sun and rain; the difficulty of maintaining a cohesive “light luxury” aesthetic across a high-end hotel environment; the demanding requirements for custom-designed, non-standard outdoor seating layouts optimized for scenic views; and the rigorous weather-resistance testing standards mandated for overseas coastal projects. Consequently, all movable outdoor furniture—spanning the scenic coastal terraces, infinity pool lounge areas, outdoor social lounges, and high-altitude courtyard retreats—was exclusively developed, precision-crafted, and delivered directly by our own manufacturing facility.

The project is situated in direct contact with the Mediterranean maritime climate, an inherently harsh outdoor environment where standard furniture is highly susceptible to fabric aging and cracking, metal frame corrosion, and wood rot.
