Case Description

This 411-square-meter office design project for a major IT firm is located in Poznań, Poland, and serves as a creative workspace crafted for the globally renowned software company, Netguru.

Our manufacturing facility provided this IT company with a comprehensive, custom-tailored office furniture solution spanning open-plan R&D zones, immersive collaborative lounges, minimalist private e-sports stations, and multi-dimensional modular relaxation areas. Key products included high-density integrated workstation islands, height-adjustable digital desks, acoustic felt-enclosed sofas, and customized multi-functional mobile workstations. By deeply integrating a pure-white geometric aesthetic with high-saturation brand colors, we achieved a delicate balance between the rigorous logic characteristic of a tech enterprise and the softer, human-centric aspects of social interaction within this highly transparent 411-square-meter space.

A core challenge inherent in the project’s background lay in the need for high-density equipment integration within a limited floor area, coupled with the extreme demands of a software development environment—specifically, the need to rapidly switch between periods of intense focus and dynamic collaboration. The client’s primary pain points were as follows: the IT R&D team required extensive support for precision hardware interfaces and multi-monitor setups; however, standard office desks typically result in chaotic cable clutter and poor heat dissipation. Furthermore, programmers require an exceptionally high level of concentration for “deep work”; yet, given the company’s rapid growth phase, the workspace needed to accommodate spontaneous standing meetings anywhere and anytime—without the addition of permanent physical partitions. Consequently, the client was concerned that the furniture layout might create a visually oppressive atmosphere or prove incapable of adapting to the rapid iteration of future IT infrastructure and workforce expansion.

To address these challenges, our facility implemented a concealed energy management system alongside a modular partition scheme designed to create a sense of “breathability.” Regarding equipment integration, we developed a digital desk bridge featuring built-in, high-capacity cooling ducts; this design conceals all power cables, data lines, and network ports within a single, seamlessly formed metal housing, thereby achieving an impeccably clutter-free desktop surface—a solution rigorously validated through thermal flux testing under simulated full-load operating conditions. In terms of flexibility, we introduced a contactless gesture-controlled height-adjustment system, complemented by the development of hexagonal, reconfigurable collaborative units that allow employees to instantly rearrange seating arrangements to suit the specific size and needs of their project teams. To address acoustic interference, we crafted a series of suspended privacy screens using 100% recyclable polyester acoustic fibers. These screens successfully passed rigorous testing, achieving a Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) of 0.85 within the speech frequency range; while maintaining unobstructed visual lines for social interaction, they simultaneously create an invisible “silent capsule” around each workstation.

The project results demonstrate that the custom-designed furniture has successfully transformed into a “digital organ” within the space, with its minimalist palette of grays and whites—accented by striking pops of yellow—perfectly translating the core brand identity of the IT firm. As the client remarked: through an almost obsessive mastery of technical details, the manufacturer delivered a suite of office furniture capable of “thinking.” This solution not only resolved the most persistent challenges facing large IT companies—namely, cable management and noise reduction—but, through its highly flexible modular design, also transformed the office into a living organism capable of spontaneously evolving in response to changing business needs.
