Case description
This luxury private residence on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan features custom-made furniture, lighting, mattresses, carpets, artwork, and decorative items all supplied by our factory.
The homeowner’s core challenge lay in the incredibly limited space and high aesthetic standards of Manhattan’s high-rise apartments. They needed to address the risk of fading and damage to the leather and silk carpets from the intense UV rays emanating from the floor-to-ceiling windows, while also overcoming the extreme challenges of non-standard corners and narrow circulation paths common in historical building renovations, which posed extreme difficulties in furniture size control. Ordinary ready-made furniture simply couldn’t meet these high-precision, high-protection living requirements.
To address this, we introduced aerospace-grade UV-resistant hydrophobic coating technology, applying nano-level protection to all custom furniture panels and fabric surfaces. We also employed a precise digital mapping system to develop a suspended wall-mounted support structure for irregular walls, using visual weight-reduction design to ensure ample storage capacity while allowing for flexible vertical light and shadow channels.
The project ultimately presents a sharp aesthetic that echoes the New York skyline. From the high-thread-count custom mattresses to every hand-polished decorative piece, everything maintains an ultimate quality while possessing strong environmental resistance. The owners praised the design for not only achieving a deep loop between artistry and functionality, but also for precisely constructing a timeless private domain for them in the extremely scarce urban core area.
