Case description
For this project—the CHOICE Bar & Restaurant in Kyiv, Ukraine—all dining furniture throughout the entire venue was custom-manufactured and supplied by our factory.
The project features a modern, minimalist space dedicated to light dining. The client’s primary pain points included the fact that commercially available furniture styles often appear too heavy or bulky, making it difficult to complement the space’s intended airy, artistic aesthetic. Furthermore, light-toned finishes are prone to yellowing and discoloration; under high-frequency usage, the joints of tables and chairs tend to loosen; and the open-plan layout imposes rigorous requirements on furniture dimensions and proportions—making it difficult for standard off-the-shelf products to achieve the desired sense of spatial openness. Additionally, the operation of a modern urban light-dining venue demands a balance between aesthetic appeal and ease of cleaning. Finally, the cross-border nature of the project presented significant challenges regarding the accurate reproduction of light-toned textures and the rigorous testing of structural stability—factors that, if mishandled, could easily compromise the overall minimalist and gentle ambiance of the space.
To address these issues, we formulated a comprehensive, integrated custom procurement plan centered on a lightweight, minimalist aesthetic. We utilized lightweight solid wood substrates to optimize structural load-bearing capacity; developed a light-matte finish specifically engineered to resist yellowing, which subsequently passed rigorous light-resistance and stain-resistance tests; and reinforced table and chair joints, subjecting them to anti-loosening durability tests. We custom-sized the furniture to align perfectly with the open proportions of the space, ensuring a unified palette of soft, light tones that complements the artistic texture of the interior design. We also optimized the curvature of chair backrests to enhance comfort during prolonged seating. Throughout the entire process—from custom manufacturing and cross-border logistics to precise on-site placement—we maintained strict quality control, ensuring that the furniture integrated seamlessly with the light-toned hardscape and the airy openness of the space. Upon installation, the venue retained its intended lightweight and transparent feel; the minimalist style remained unified and cohesive; the finishes stayed looking as good as new without yellowing; and the structures proved robust enough to withstand high-frequency commercial use—making daily cleaning simple and efficient, and perfectly meeting the operational demands of a modern urban light-dining establishment.
The client expressed high satisfaction with our services, commending us for accurately capturing the minimalist artistic atmosphere. They praised our success in resolving complex challenges—including the durability of light-toned finishes, the stability of lightweight structures, and the precise dimensional adaptation required for a cross-border project—thereby striking a perfect balance between aesthetic quality and commercial functionality, and successfully delivering a comprehensive soft-furnishing solution.
