Case Description

Our factory supplied all the furniture for the R&D and office zones, park operations offices, business incubation areas, business reception zones, and ancillary leisure and collaboration spaces within the Shenzhen Investment Holdings (SIH) Shenshan Science and Technology Eco-Park.

As the first large-scale industrial park in the Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone—developed by SIH to benchmark against world-class standards—this project boasts a total construction area of ​​630,000 square meters. It encompasses a towering R&D landmark and a street-style commercial district, positioning itself as a hub for technological innovation. The project’s core challenge regarding office furniture lay in balancing the high-end aesthetic expected of a world-class park with the adaptability required for diverse business formats and the park’s integrated “industry-city” development philosophy. The furniture needed to accommodate the R&D and office requirements of tech enterprises ranging from small startups to large-scale corporations, while simultaneously harmonizing with the park’s spatial layout and architectural aesthetics. Furthermore, it had to meet strict standards for eco-friendliness, low-carbon operation, and smart office integration. Traditional office furniture proved inadequate for meeting the full lifecycle office needs of the park—from nascent teams to mature enterprises—and failed to resonate with the architecture’s modern, minimalist design ethos. Moreover, traditional bulk customization methods often resulted in poor spatial fit and inconsistent quality, failing to align with the park’s value proposition of “Shenzhen Quality at Shenshan Costs,” and were ill-suited for the unique requirements of a multi-dimensional, eco-integrated office environment.

Leveraging our factory’s capabilities in large-scale customization and technical expertise, we deeply integrated the architectural “diamond” motifs of the park with a modern, tech-centric aesthetic. We selected eco-friendly, low-carbon, and highly durable composite panel materials; consequently, all furniture passed rigorous testing for environmental compliance, durability, load-bearing capacity, and smart system compatibility—aligning perfectly with the park’s green and low-carbon positioning. We implemented precise, customized solutions tailored to each specific functional zone: the R&D and office areas feature modular, combinable workstations designed to accommodate the flexible work styles and equipment placement needs of tech enterprises; the park operations offices feature a minimalist, high-efficiency furniture series to facilitate the park’s streamlined management operations; the business incubation zone is furnished with lightweight, flexible pieces tailored to support the growth trajectory of startup teams; and the business reception zone features furniture with a premium aesthetic to underscore the park’s status as an international-standard hub. We innovatively incorporated embedded smart interface designs to ensure seamless integration with the park’s intelligent office systems. Additionally, we optimized our production and installation workflows—utilizing 3D spatial simulation technology to ensure a precise fit within the park’s multi-dimensional layout and high-rise office spaces—thereby achieving standardized mass production and precise, on-time delivery of all furniture.

Following the project’s completion, the office furniture proved to be in perfect harmony with both the architectural aesthetics of the park and the diverse operational requirements of its various business sectors. It not only accentuates the premium quality and sophisticated ambiance characteristic of a world-class industrial park but also precisely caters to the specific needs of the resident technology and innovation enterprises, as well as the park’s operational management. Characterized by its eco-friendliness, smart functionality, convenience, flexibility, and practicality, the furniture effectively optimizes space utilization and significantly enhances the overall office experience. By facilitating the creation of an integrated “Work–Life–Social” innovation ecosystem, the project garnered high acclaim from both the Shenzhen Investment Holdings (SIHC) project operations team and the resident enterprises. They lauded the furniture design for its flawless alignment with the park’s strategic positioning in technology innovation and its core philosophy of urban-industrial integration—noting that its meticulous details exemplify the hallmark quality of Shenzhen. Ultimately, this initiative plays a pivotal role in establishing the park as a premier hub for technology and innovation industries within the Shenzhen-Shantou region, setting a new benchmark for custom office furniture solutions in large-scale industrial parks.
