Case description

All dining furniture situated within the main space of the Burleigh Heads Pavilion—located on Australia’s Gold Coast—was custom-manufactured and supplied by our factory.

The client’s primary challenge stemmed from the restaurant’s location: an entirely open-air setting atop a coastal cliff. The frequent exposure to intense UV radiation and highly penetrating, salt-laden sea mist caused outdoor fabrics and solid wood tabletops to rapidly become brittle and discolored. Furthermore, as the venue serves as a high-traffic social landmark and “influencer hotspot,” the seating and bar areas are subjected to thousands of instances of high-frequency friction daily, alongside chemical corrosion from alcohol and grease. Consequently, traditional dining furniture struggled to strike a balance between maintaining a pristine, minimalist aesthetic and delivering ultra-high-strength weather resistance.

To address this, we implemented a comprehensive solution featuring extreme-environment chemical protection and structural reinforcement. We applied aerospace-grade fluorocarbon self-cleaning coatings and deep-penetrating anti-UV technologies to the furniture surfaces. Additionally, we developed a system of concealed, seamless structural connectors specifically engineered for high-traffic commercial environments. These components successfully passed rigorous simulated high-concentration salt spray tests and fatigue tests involving 100,000 cycles of alternating load on the seat surfaces, ensuring long-term color stability and impermeability without compromising the venue’s intended Italian-Mediterranean aesthetic.

Since the project’s completion, this furniture system—perfectly attuned to the sunny backdrop of the Gold Coast—has not only withstood the extreme rigors of a high-salinity environment but has also, through its tactile warmth and exceptional visual harmony, perfectly complemented the venue’s South Pacific sunset ocean views. The client has praised this custom collection for achieving a complete synergy between aesthetic allure and commercial durability, thereby providing global travelers with a coastal social space that remains perpetually pristine and exudes a profound sense of quality.
