Case Description
The office furniture situated within the main workspace of Publicis’s Thailand headquarters was custom-manufactured and supplied by our factory.
The project’s context lies in the fact that, as a world-leading advertising and creative conglomerate, the agency’s operational model relies heavily on the seamless transition between real-time brainstorming among cross-media teams and immersive creative work. The client’s core pain point was that traditional office furniture—with its overly heavy visual mass—restricted the free flow of creative sparks. Furthermore, due to the extensive use of highly reflective decorative materials throughout the space, furniture surfaces were prone to generating diffuse reflections and visual afterimages, thereby interfering with Art Directors’ ability to accurately judge color fidelity.
To address this, we implemented structural “dematerialization” engineering techniques alongside a full-spectrum, zero-reflection surface finish solution. We utilized aerospace-grade lightweight alloys to replace traditional, bulky wooden supports, endowing the workstations with a visual lightness that borders on suspension. Additionally, specifically for the unique optical environment of the creative industry, we developed a “Diffuse-Wave” coating capable of absorbing 99% of ambient diffuse light. This solution successfully passed rigorous extinction coefficient tests—evaluating interference with monitor color balance—as well as precise dynamic displacement monitoring for its ultra-wide-span cantilever structures. This ensures that while the furniture provides essential physical support for the team, it simultaneously establishes a visually pure, almost “vacuum-like” creative backdrop.
The final results were remarkable. This furniture system—characterized by a minimalist, industrial aesthetic—liberated the office environment from the clutter of material accumulation. It not only significantly enhanced the visual comfort of the creative team during long hours of high-pressure work but also, through its profound adaptability to the demands of a professional aesthetic space, earned high praise from the client for our ability to use cutting-edge craftsmanship to precisely embody the very soul of creativity.
