Case description
All custom-made furniture and complementary soft furnishings within The Moon Residences in Bangkok were supplied entirely by our factory and supply chain network.
The project was necessitated by the apartment’s unique architectural features—specifically, its distinctive curved panoramic balcony and multi-angled interior layout. The client’s primary challenge lay in the spatial inefficiency caused by standard off-the-shelf furniture, which failed to fit flush against the irregular walls. Furthermore, given the building’s use of highly transparent glass curtain walls, the intense sunlight concentration created extreme demands regarding the fade resistance of interior carpets, artwork, and mattress fabrics—requirements that far exceeded standard industry benchmarks.
To address these issues, we implemented advanced spatial surface-fitting algorithms and a comprehensive physical anti-fading protocol. Utilizing infrared scanning to reconstruct a 3D digital model of the interior, we ensured a millimeter-perfect fit between the furniture bases and the multi-angled floor surfaces. Additionally, we subjected all decorative artwork and lighting materials involved in the project to accelerated UV-aging simulations in a laboratory setting, ultimately opting for photostable polymer finishes to replace traditional surface materials prone to oxidation.
The results were remarkable: this integrated spatial system—encompassing smart-support mattresses, artistic lighting fixtures, and custom-textured decorative accents—not only boosted the utilization efficiency of the irregularly shaped areas by 40%, but also garnered high praise from the client for its exceptional durability and color retention, remaining vibrant and fresh even after prolonged exposure to intense sunlight.
