Case Description

Drawing upon deep insights into the modern office ecosystem, we custom-designed a comprehensive office furniture solution for the Tailing International headquarters—encompassing shared collaboration zones, tiered training rooms, minimalist executive areas, and landscaped social platforms.

As a brand currently undergoing global expansion, Tailing International faced a core challenge: balancing “spatial scalability” with “corporate cohesion.” The client’s primary pain point was that, due to the extremely high frequency of cross-departmental collaboration within the headquarters, the existing fixed-station layout severely hindered the rapid reconfiguration of teams. Furthermore, the space featured numerous high-ceilinged areas and irregularly shaped corners, making it difficult for standard furniture to effectively utilize this “residual space.” The owner’s greatest concern was that, within such a vast open-plan environment, an excess of furniture might compromise the sense of visual openness; moreover, a central challenge in furniture procurement was determining how to ensure thousands of employees felt the brand’s humanistic care amidst the rigorous atmosphere of an industrial manufacturing enterprise.

We implemented a strategy centered on “fluid geometric storage” and “adaptive collaboration.” Specifically addressing the spiral circulation area and the expansive, high-ceilinged collaboration zone shown in the accompanying images, we custom-designed curved, fluid-line sofas and tiered collaboration seating that harmonize with the building’s architectural flow, thereby transforming previously “dead corners” into highly efficient impromptu discussion hubs. For the training spaces, we selected a lightweight seating system featuring rapid stowage capabilities, allowing for complete floor reconfiguration or rapid clearing of the space based on specific usage requirements. In the executive areas, we introduced a modular storage wall system that seamlessly conceals all office clutter behind finishes matching the building’s interior palette; this minimalist gray-scale aesthetic is balanced by accents of natural wood-toned furniture, creating a warm, visually guiding environment.

Tailing International’s operations team offered the following feedback: “This custom furniture solution has significantly optimized the headquarters’ spatial utilization—particularly the flexibility of the collaboration zones—reducing the response time for cross-departmental communication by one-third. While upholding the building’s minimalist aesthetic, the furniture delivers exceptional comfort through meticulous ergonomic detailing. Employee feedback indicates that the tiered sharing zone has now become the company’s most vibrant hub for inspiration and creativity.” The owner concluded: “What you delivered was not merely a collection of office furnishings, but rather a dynamic office ecosystem with the inherent capacity for self-evolution—providing robust spatial support for our brand’s ongoing international expansion.”
