Case Description
Our factory supplied all the furniture for the main office areas at the headquarters of CITIC-Prudential Life, covering executive offices, client consultation zones, exclusive reception areas for high-net-worth clients, open-plan collaboration spaces, private meeting rooms, and employee lounge areas.
As an insurance enterprise jointly established by CITIC Group and Prudential plc (UK), CITIC-Prudential upholds the business philosophy of “Where Listening Leads, Trust Follows.” Their core challenge regarding office furniture lay in balancing a brand aesthetic that harmonizes Eastern and Western influences with diverse functional requirements. The furniture needed to project the professionalism and rigor characteristic of the financial and insurance sectors while simultaneously conveying a warm, approachable service ethos. Furthermore, client consultation areas required guaranteed privacy, collaboration zones needed to facilitate team co-creation, and furniture styles across all nationwide branches had to remain consistent to align with the company’s commitment to eco-friendliness, low-carbon operations, and human-centric care. Traditional office furniture options often fell short—either lacking the premium quality necessary to match the brand’s positioning, or lacking the privacy and flexibility required to accommodate diverse scenarios such as insurance consultations and team collaboration. Moreover, decentralized procurement approaches presented issues such as failure to meet environmental standards, delayed after-sales support, and stylistic inconsistencies—making it difficult to satisfy the company’s high standards for service delivery and brand image projection.
Leveraging our factory-direct customization capabilities, we deeply integrated CITIC-Prudential’s specific brand elements into our designs. We selected eco-friendly recycled board materials—certified by China’s “Ten-Ring” Environmental Labeling scheme and compliant with the ISO 14001 environmental management system—and paired them with a minimalist yet sophisticated design aesthetic that successfully balances Eastern and Western aesthetic sensibilities. For client consultation areas, we designed exclusive seating and negotiation tables featuring sound-dampening partitions to ensure privacy during consultations; for collaboration zones, we utilized modular, combinable furniture systems to accommodate flexible working requirements; and for meeting rooms, we provided furniture solutions optimized for global remote collaboration. All products underwent rigorous testing for environmental compliance, durability, sound insulation, and load-bearing capacity. Furthermore, we established a unified nationwide production and delivery network to provide a comprehensive, one-stop solution encompassing design, manufacturing, installation, and after-sales support—all while incorporating human-centric design principles to ensure comfort and ergonomic support for employees who spend long hours working at their desks.
Following the project’s completion, the office space emerged as a setting that is at once minimalist yet professional, and warm yet elegant. The furniture was precisely tailored to suit each functional area—a design approach that not only aligns with CITIC-Prudential’s brand identity and philosophy of green development but also effectively enhances employee efficiency and the client reception experience, while safeguarding client privacy during consultations. With a consistent furniture style and uniform quality across all its nationwide branches, the project garnered high acclaim from CITIC-Prudential Life’s procurement and administrative teams. They recognized that the furniture design perfectly reflects the company’s core business philosophy, playing a pivotal role in cultivating a professional, efficient, and welcoming office and service environment; consequently, the provider has been established as a core, long-term strategic partner for the company’s office furniture needs.
