Case Description
For this project—the Escritorio ChatPay office space in São Paulo, Brazil—all office furniture was fully custom-designed and supplied by our factory.
The core objective of this project was to preserve the original exposed concrete structure and the exterior views, while simultaneously meeting the diverse operational needs of a startup company. The client’s primary challenge lay in ensuring the furniture harmonized with the texture of the original ribbed concrete, thereby avoiding any disruption to the building’s inherent aesthetic integrity. Specifically, the main conference room needed to be positioned near the windows to capitalize on the scenic views without visually segmenting the window expanse. Furthermore, the enclosed private zones—such as meeting rooms and phone booths—presented unique constraints regarding low ceiling heights and acoustic requirements, placing extremely high demands on the precise dimensions and vertical alignment of the furniture. The central communal workstations required a design that balanced the practicalities of multi-user collaboration with the overall visual equilibrium of the space. Finally, elements such as window-side benches and lounge sofas needed to be designed to complement the scenic outlook; concurrently, all office furniture had to incorporate acoustic-enhancing features, durability, and ease of maintenance to accommodate the high-frequency usage and visitor reception demands typical of a startup environment. Standardized, off-the-shelf office furniture available on the market simply could not precisely address the specific requirements of the original architectural structure, the preservation of the scenic views, and the diverse array of office scenarios.
To address these complex challenges, we formulated a comprehensive, integrated custom procurement solution centered on the dual principles of “preserving native textures” and “adapting to diverse work modes.” We conducted precise surveys of the original concrete structure’s dimensions and window layout to create furniture with color palettes and contours that seamlessly blended with the building’s architectural texture. For the main conference room, we designed low-profile tables and chairs that ensured an unobstructed line of sight, thereby preserving the continuity of the window views. To accommodate the low ceilings in the enclosed private zones, we custom-fabricated compact meeting furniture and seating for phone booths that were precisely calibrated to the available vertical space. We incorporated acoustic-enhancing fabrics along the furniture edges to bolster the soundproofing capabilities of these enclosed areas. The central communal workstations were constructed using reinforced steel frames—which successfully passed rigorous load-bearing and abrasion-resistance tests—to ensure they could withstand the intensive, high-frequency usage associated with multi-user collaboration. Finally, the window-side benches and lounge furniture featured a lightweight design that kept sightlines open to the exterior views, while utilizing easy-to-clean and wear-resistant base materials to strike a perfect balance between functionality and aesthetics. Throughout the entire process—from raw material sourcing and custom manufacturing to logistics and on-site precision installation—we ensured a seamless workflow, allowing the furniture to integrate naturally and harmoniously with both the original concrete structure and the scenic views beyond the windows. Upon the completion of the furniture installation, the space’s original architectural character was fully preserved. The main conference room now enjoys unobstructed views of the exterior landscape, while the furniture in every zone features precise dimensions that ensure seamless workflow and circulation throughout the office. The furnishings not only meet the functional requirements for fixed workstations, visitor reception, and social interaction, but also help enhance sound insulation within enclosed areas. Durable and easy to maintain, the furniture is perfectly tailored to the fast-paced, high-efficiency work rhythm of a startup enterprise.
The client expressed high satisfaction with this custom procurement service, commending our precise execution in integrating the original architecture with modern office requirements. We successfully resolved complex challenges—including landscape preservation, precise dimensional fitting, and multi-scenario adaptability—striking a perfect balance between architectural aesthetics and practical office utility. By crafting an office environment that embodies both sophisticated quality and operational efficiency, we successfully completed the comprehensive delivery of the entire office furniture package.
