Case Description
Our factory supplied all the office furniture for Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital, covering its various departmental offices, administrative zones, medical technology areas, and patient reception zones.
With a history spanning a century, the hospital is a large-scale, top-tier (Grade 3A) medical institution that integrates clinical care, medical education, and research. When updating its office environment, the hospital sought to balance its rich historical heritage with the demands for high efficiency inherent in modern medical operations. Furthermore, the furniture was required to meet the hospital’s rigorous standards for hygiene, safety, and durability. Traditional off-the-shelf furniture—often stylistically outdated and incompatible with the hospital’s institutional character—lacked sufficient durability and antimicrobial properties; it was ill-suited for high-frequency usage and infection control protocols, and failed to accommodate the distinct functional requirements of different departments.
Drawing upon the hospital’s century-old cultural heritage and the practical needs of modern medical administration, we selected eco-friendly, antimicrobial, and easy-to-clean professional-grade medical-use panel materials. All products underwent rigorous testing for abrasion resistance, antimicrobial efficacy, load-bearing capacity, and environmental compliance. In terms of design, we adopted a simple yet dignified aesthetic that harmonizes with the hospital’s historical character. Simultaneously, we created customized layouts tailored to specific scenarios—including clinical staff offices, medical technology workstations, and administrative management areas—optimizing storage configurations and ergonomic dimensions. We utilized digital on-site surveying to ensure precise dimensional accuracy, thereby delivering a comprehensive, one-stop custom furniture solution with rapid turnaround times.
Upon the project’s completion, the furniture ensemble successfully complemented the hospital’s dignified and elegant spatial atmosphere while delivering the practical functionality and safety performance essential for a medical environment. The new furnishings effectively enhanced the office efficiency and comfort of the medical staff, earning unanimous praise from both the hospital’s logistics department and the end-user departments. Ultimately, we successfully crafted a comfortable, standardized, and highly efficient modern office environment for this historic, century-old institution.
