We provided Pudra Bakery with a comprehensive, deeply customized furniture solution, utilizing a blend of color psychology and durable materials to create a bakery space that is both inviting and optimized for high commercial turnover.

As a venue that fuses artisanal baking with a social atmosphere, Pudra Bakery faced a core challenge: the inherent conflict between “extremely limited floor-space efficiency” and the “pressure of high-frequency cleaning.” The client’s primary pain point stemmed from their product lineup—which features an abundance of powdered sugar, oils, and fresh cream—substances that easily adhere to furniture surfaces and create stubborn, hard-to-remove stains. Furthermore, given the shop’s positioning, which attracts a large clientele accompanied by pets and children, standard furniture with sharp angles posed safety risks. Moreover, the high volume of foot traffic caused seating wear and tear to accelerate far beyond expectations. Consequently, the owner urgently required a solution that could simultaneously convey the brand’s “powder-like” delicate aesthetic and withstand extreme maintenance challenges.

We implemented an integrated design strategy featuring rounded forms and engineered, impermeable surface finishes. To address safety and spatial dynamics, we custom-designed a series of pebble-shaped seats and cylindrical-base tables—all devoid of sharp corners. These streamlined contours serve to guide customer flow while visually dispelling the sense of confinement often associated with small spaces. To tackle the hygiene dilemma, we selected medical-grade, impermeable, and antimicrobial surface finishes. These materials possess a microscopic smoothness that prevents oils and sugars from penetrating the furniture fibers, allowing for deep self-cleaning with nothing more than a damp cloth. To harmonize with the brand’s visual identity, we developed a matte metal framework utilizing a powder-coating process. Paired with high-density, high-resilience foam cushioning, this construction ensures exceptional structural stability while keeping the furniture lightweight and easy to rearrange.

The Pudra Bakery operations team reported that this custom furniture suite has significantly reduced the time required for daily post-closing cleaning; the stain-resistant performance of the furniture surfaces has been nothing short of impressive, retaining their pristine color and finish even after intensive, high-frequency use.
