Case description

For this project—the Sartoria Lamberti restaurant in Moscow, Russia—all dining furniture throughout the entire venue, including solid wood dining tables, upholstered fabric chairs, communal dining counters, wall-mounted banquettes, and bar stools, was fully custom-manufactured and supplied by our factory.

The project features a high-end, themed dining space situated within a hotel, with the aesthetics of fashion tailoring serving as its core design concept. It seamlessly blends vintage architectural carvings, sleek metal accents, and layered fabric soft furnishings. The client faced distinct and specific implementation challenges: commercially available off-the-shelf furniture lacked the thematic texture and intricate details required to resonate with the space’s artistic narrative of sartorial craftsmanship; furthermore, the hotel’s original layout—characterized by varying floor levels and spatial irregularities—made it difficult to adapt standard furniture dimensions. Moreover, the venue’s role as a setting for high-end business banquets imposed rigorous demands on furniture quality, specifically regarding tactile texture, fabric comfort, and durability—including noise-free operation and abrasion resistance. Ordinary furniture would have been prone to issues such as fabric wrinkling, structural creaking or rattling at joints, and rough surface finishes. Additionally, as an overseas hotel project, the soft furnishings required precise alignment with the hotel’s overarching stylistic identity; managing cross-border material sourcing, ensuring color consistency across fabrics, and executing intricate craftsmanship to exact specifications presented significant logistical and technical hurdles, making it difficult to fully and faithfully recreate the elegant, “light luxury” thematic atmosphere envisioned by the designers.

To address these challenges, we developed a comprehensive, integrated custom-sourcing solution centered on the “tailoring aesthetics” theme. We conducted precise on-site surveys of the hotel’s interior dimensions to fine-tune the specifications and profiles of every furniture piece. We drew inspiration from the space’s architectural “cut lines” to optimize the contours and silhouettes of the furniture. We carefully curated materials—selecting high-density, skin-friendly fabrics, warm-toned solid woods, and refined metal finishes—and implemented specialized manufacturing processes to ensure silent operation, scratch resistance, abrasion resistance, stain resistance, and structural durability. This approach ensured a unified “light luxury” aesthetic and consistent thematic detailing across all furniture pieces throughout the space, effectively balancing the need for a comfortable dining experience for business guests with the demands of high-frequency, long-term commercial operation. We streamlined the entire workflow—from raw material sourcing and custom manufacturing to cross-border logistics and seamless on-site installation—allowing the furniture to integrate naturally and harmoniously with the venue’s vintage architectural elements and fabric soft furnishings. Upon the completion of the furniture installation, the restaurant’s elegant, “light luxury” thematic atmosphere was fully realized; the furniture fit the hotel’s spatial layout perfectly, facilitating smooth and logical circulation, while the refined, durable craftsmanship proved ideally suited for the demands of high-end business dining operations—offering ease of daily maintenance and enduring aesthetic quality.

The client highly commended our customized procurement services, praising our ability to precisely realize the core aesthetic of the thematic design. We successfully balanced artistic ambiance, a premium user experience, and commercial-grade durability—thereby effectively resolving the complex challenges associated with the meticulous execution of soft furnishings for an overseas hotel project—and successfully completed the delivery of the entire space’s soft furnishing scheme.
