Case Description
Our factory supplied the primary furniture for the office spaces within the Shenzhen Hanguo Center.
We provided a comprehensive, bespoke furniture package for the Hanguo Center—spanning the CEO’s executive office on the uppermost floors, the Grade-A business reception lounge, the collaborative zones within the digital industry park, and the minimalist-style brand lobby. Our key products include exceptionally long cantilevered conference tables that exude architectural tension, modular furniture systems featuring high-gloss lacquer finishes, premium ergonomic executive seating upholstered in top-grain leather, and custom-designed side tables crafted from composite stone and metal materials. By deeply integrating the architectural firm’s “vertical skyscraper” design logic with a sophisticated international business aesthetic, we successfully achieved a harmonious balance between the sense of prestige inherent in high-rise offices and the dynamic flow of high-frequency commercial activity within the core of the Futian CBD.
The primary challenge inherent in this project’s context lay in mitigating the subtle structural instability risks posed by the extreme vertical wind pressures within a super-high-rise building, as well as addressing the physical stresses placed on high-end materials by the thermal radiation emitted through the Grade-A office tower’s glass curtain walls. From the client’s perspective, a key pain point stemmed from the Hanguo Center’s status as a priority hub for investment promotion; as its tenants consist predominantly of international capital firms and high-tech enterprises, the building’s owner demanded exceptionally high standards regarding both the visual impact and the durability of the furniture. Furthermore, the transportation and installation of furniture within such a super-high-rise space were constrained by elevator dimensions and load capacities; traditional, bulky executive furniture pieces could not be seamlessly introduced into the building without risking damage to the glass curtain walls. Additionally, we were required to devise solutions to prevent the risk of surface coating fading and cracking caused by exposure to intense direct sunlight.
To address these challenges, our factory implemented a modular deconstruction-and-assembly process, coupled with a multi-layer UV-blocking coating technology. To overcome the logistical hurdles associated with vertical transportation in a super-high-rise, we developed an “architectural decomposition” methodology for heavy furniture; this involved deconstructing large-format executive desks into high-precision micro-modules, which were then seamlessly reassembled on-site with millimeter-level precision using laser calibration technology. This structural design successfully passed simulated lateral shear-force tests under overloaded conditions. Regarding weather resistance and durability, we applied an aerospace-grade, UV-resistant fluorocarbon polymer coating and incorporated flexible expansion joints at the interfaces between stone and metal components. These measures effectively counteracted the drastic temperature fluctuations and intense direct sunlight prevalent in the glass curtain wall zones, and the materials successfully passed color-shift index tests simulating the effects of ten years of high-intensity light exposure. Tailored to the working habits of high-net-worth individuals, we designed custom executive seating featuring an integrated micro-frequency damping system, significantly enhancing seated stability and tranquility within a super-high-rise environment.
The project results demonstrate that this bespoke furniture successfully serves as a tangible symbol defining the pinnacle of corporate authority within the space; its bold contours and exquisite material details perfectly complement the status of Hankou Center as a landmark of Futian. The client commended the manufacturing facility for achieving technological breakthroughs to address the extreme conditions inherent to super-high-rise office environments. They delivered a world-class furnishing system of international competitive caliber—one that not only resolved the logistical bottlenecks associated with installing large-scale furniture but also minimized long-term depreciation costs through exceptional durability and environmental resilience, thereby establishing a premium business ecosystem capable of attracting the world’s leading enterprises.
