During the project’s initial stages, the client faced a unique set of challenges. As a high-end French brand, Sofitel maintains rigorous standards regarding the details of French elegance, the textural quality of lines, and the expression of its brand identity in its furniture; the goal was to project a sense of refined French “light luxury” amidst Adelaide’s urban atmosphere—a complex blend of aesthetics that standard suppliers often struggle to execute, particularly when involving the intricate combination of metal, leather, and wood veneers.
