As a benchmark for ultra-luxury business and leisure travel in North American urban centers, the high-rise urban hotel in downtown Los Angeles faced a unique set of challenges during its construction phase. These included significant day-night temperature fluctuations inherent to high-altitude urban environments; the risk of furniture paint oxidation and fading caused by the stark contrast between indoor light and shadow; the rigorous standards for eco-friendly materials and “light luxury” craftsmanship demanded by high-end hotels; and the inherent difficulty in executing a mixed-style aesthetic of modern urban luxury. Furthermore, maintaining stylistic consistency across the entire property—encompassing all-day dining areas with panoramic views, private lounge booths, “cloud-level” luxury guest rooms, and casual meeting spaces—presented a significant coordination challenge. The project also required exacting precision in the structural customization of high-end, uniquely shaped furniture, alongside the complex quality control logistics involved in the bulk delivery of goods across international borders. Consequently, all movable furniture and fixed custom cabinetry throughout the hotel—spanning the luxury guest rooms, high-altitude all-day restaurant, private lounge, and indoor meeting areas—were independently developed, meticulously crafted, and delivered via a comprehensive, one-stop cross-border service provided by our own manufacturing facility.

Situated within a high-rise urban complex in Los Angeles, the hotel’s interiors are subject to intense diffused lighting and fluctuations in temperature and humidity—conditions that can easily degrade the surface texture of furniture.
