Case Description

Our factory supplied all the furniture for Wanhua Chemical Group’s primary office areas, covering the headquarters’ administrative zones, R&D laboratory support areas, business reception lounges, employee collaboration and leisure zones, and custom-designed locker areas.

As a globally operating chemical new materials company, Wanhua Chemical is deeply committed to a philosophy of green development; consequently, its environmental standards for office furniture far exceed industry norms. Furthermore, the company’s diverse office environments—spanning R&D, administration, and other fields—are subject to intensive daily use. These spaces require a delicate balance between a natural, health-conscious aesthetic and the practical demands inherent to a chemical enterprise. Traditional office furniture often presents inherent risks—such as potential formaldehyde emissions, susceptibility to corrosion, and difficulty in adapting to clean-room environments—and fails to perfectly align with the company’s core brand DNA of environmental sustainability.

Leveraging our technological expertise in formaldehyde-free manufacturing, we utilized “Qingxin” boards as our primary substrate—panels processed with MDI-based, formaldehyde-free adhesives developed in collaboration with Wanhua Chemical. By integrating 3D laser edge-banding and our proprietary “7-PLUS” water-based finishing process, we effectively eliminated formaldehyde emissions at the source. All products underwent over 200 rigorous tests at CNAS-accredited laboratories, covering a wide spectrum of criteria including environmental safety, abrasion resistance, corrosion resistance, and anti-static properties. Additionally, we optimized our designs to meet specific office requirements—incorporating height-adjustable desks, modular collaborative furniture, and custom locker systems—thereby balancing ergonomic health for sedentary work with spatial flexibility and convenient storage solutions. Through this comprehensive approach, we successfully implemented a “green office” philosophy across the entire project lifecycle.

Since the project’s completion, the office spaces have been infused with natural elements, creating an environment that is not only formaldehyde-free and eco-friendly but also clean and easy to maintain. The furniture seamlessly adapts to a variety of office scenarios, effectively aligning with Wanhua Chemical’s corporate mission while significantly enhancing employee well-being and creativity. The project has garnered high acclaim from the relevant teams at Wanhua Chemical, establishing itself as a premier benchmark for custom green office furniture solutions within the chemical new materials industry.
