As the exclusive source manufacturer, our factory supplied the complete suite of custom-made furniture for the guest rooms, executive suites, lobby bar, all-day dining restaurant, and public lounge areas at the Wyndham Hanoi. Drawing upon a design ethos of modern, metropolitan “light luxury”—and seamlessly blending it with the distinctive cultural textures of Hanoi—we crafted a comprehensive furniture solution for this urban landmark hotel that successfully harmonizes brand standardization, aesthetic appeal, and practical durability.
In the project’s initial stages, the client faced a unique set of challenges regarding differentiation: as an international chain brand, the hotel was required to strictly adhere to Wyndham’s global design standards and furniture specifications, while simultaneously integrating the warm color palettes and cultural nuances of the local Hanoi environment—a task that presented significant difficulty in balancing global standardization with local contextualization. Furthermore, given Hanoi’s hot, humid summers and frequent rainfall during the monsoon season, conventional hotel furniture is prone to moisture absorption, mold growth, and hardware corrosion, resulting in insufficient durability. The hotel’s various functional zones—guest rooms, dining areas, and the lobby—presented distinct requirements: guest rooms needed to accommodate both business and leisure needs; the restaurant required furniture suited for high-traffic dining scenarios; and the lobby bar needed to foster a vibrant social atmosphere. Consequently, sourcing furniture for such diverse settings risked creating stylistic fragmentation across the property. Additionally, as is typical for chain hotel projects, the timeline was tight and quality control standards were exceptionally rigorous; relying on multi-vendor procurement across different furniture categories risked leading to delivery delays and inconsistent product quality.
Leveraging our in-house manufacturing capabilities and our specialized system for standardized custom furniture solutions for hotel chains, we provided a targeted and effective solution for this project. Our furniture designs strictly adhered to Wyndham’s brand guidelines while simultaneously incorporating local atmospheric elements through the use of warm browns, creamy whites, and natural wood tones; we also custom-developed exclusive fabrics and wood finishes to ensure a seamless integration of brand identity and local aesthetic sensibility. To address Hanoi’s humid climate, all furniture was constructed using moisture-resistant board materials and treated with anti-mold processes; hardware components were selected for their rust-resistant plating, and fabrics were treated with water-repellent finishes—all designed to withstand the high-humidity environment of a tropical city. For the guest rooms, we custom-crafted bed frames with clean, business-oriented lines and multi-functional desks; for the restaurant, we provided tables and chairs featuring wear-resistant surfaces and easy-to-clean upholstery; and for the lobby bar, we designed modular sofa configurations—thereby ensuring that the furniture effectively met the specific functional demands of each distinct setting. Throughout the entire process, we applied a unified brand-standard quality control system and managed production and delivery on a comprehensive, one-stop basis, ensuring efficient alignment with the hotel’s grand opening schedule and guaranteeing the utmost consistency in craftsmanship, color palette, and quality across the entire furniture collection. Upon the project’s completion, our full range of furniture perfectly complemented the hotel’s modern, metropolitan, and “light luxury” aesthetic. It successfully preserved the Wyndham brand’s signature design language while seamlessly integrating the warm, authentic textures characteristic of Hanoi. Furthermore, the furniture demonstrates exceptional durability and stability during long-term operation, boasting superior resistance to moisture and mold while requiring minimal maintenance. The hotel management expressed their high satisfaction, commending us for precisely balancing the dual requirements of chain brand standardization and localized design.
