Case Description
Our factory supplied all the office furniture across the various work zones at Tencent’s headquarters, providing comprehensive coverage for a wide range of environments—including open collaborative workstations, executive offices, large-scale conference centers, employee lounge areas, and reception zones.
As a massive internet enterprise, Tencent’s campus features an immense office footprint and complex functional zoning. The furniture solutions needed to satisfy the comfort requirements of a high-density workforce engaged in prolonged work, while simultaneously facilitating a flexible transition between open collaboration and independent work. Furthermore, the corporation imposed exceptionally rigorous standards regarding environmental compliance, fire safety performance, and structural durability. Traditional off-the-shelf furniture proved ill-suited to maintaining a unified aesthetic, while sourcing from multiple vendors presented issues such as unsynchronized timelines, dimensional mismatches, and fragmented post-installation maintenance—hindrances that prevented the efficient, rapid deployment and stable operation of such a large-scale campus.
Leveraging our capabilities as a direct-source manufacturer—specifically our capacity for large-scale customization and technical integration—we undertook the unified planning and production of furniture for the entire campus. We selected high-grade, eco-friendly panel materials and reinforced metal structures, subjecting them to a series of rigorous tests covering criteria such as abrasion resistance, compressive strength, and formaldehyde emission levels. Tailoring our designs to the specific characteristics of a modern internet workplace, we optimized features such as desktop cable management, modular configurations, and ergonomic contours. This approach ensured visual consistency and functional compatibility across open workstations, meeting rooms, and lounge areas, allowing us to deliver a comprehensive, one-stop service encompassing the entire lifecycle—from design and production through to delivery and installation.
Upon the successful completion of the project, the office spaces featured a rational layout and a unified aesthetic; the furniture itself was environmentally safe, structurally robust, and ergonomically comfortable. These enhancements effectively boosted overall campus efficiency and significantly improved the employee experience, earning high commendation from Tencent’s administrative and project teams. Moreover, this initiative established a replicable blueprint for the standardized customization of office furniture within the campuses of large-scale technology enterprises.
