Case description
Rooted in the holistic aesthetic expression of ultra-luxury private residences, we provided Shenzhen Xiyuan Villa with a comprehensive, integrated custom solution encompassing furniture, lighting, mattresses, rugs, wall art, and decorative accessories.
As a high-end private property situated by the sea, the client faced a dual challenge: the fragmentation of interior styling and the need for resilience against the coastal environment. During the initial procurement phase, the owners discovered that independently selected artworks, lighting fixtures, and large-scale furniture pieces failed to harmonize in terms of color temperature, proportion, and material context, resulting in a visually chaotic space. Furthermore, given the villa’s constant exposure to a high-salinity, high-humidity coastal climate, standard fabrics were prone to dampness and mold growth, decorative metal components were highly susceptible to oxidation and tarnishing, and soft furnishings—such as rugs—faced the risk of fiber degradation. Consequently, the client urgently required a comprehensive interior styling solution that possessed both systematic aesthetic coherence and the capacity to withstand environmental erosion.
We implemented a design strategy centered on visual modular unity and comprehensive anti-oxidation engineering. To ensure stylistic cohesion, we established the villa’s architectural foundation as our aesthetic modulus; utilizing the geometric patterns of custom-designed rugs to guide the visual flow of the space, we ensured that the optical color temperatures of the lighting and the color saturation of the wall art remained in perfect, molecular-level harmony. Regarding environmental resilience, all furniture hardware was treated with PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) vacuum coating—a precision-engineering technique originally developed for scientific instruments—which provides salt-spray resistance far superior to conventional finishes. The fabrics used for rugs and mattresses were selected from specialized hypoallergenic and mold-resistant fibers, while decorative accessories were treated with an inorganic self-cleaning coating to microscopically block the infiltration of moisture and salt, thereby ensuring that their artistic quality remains undiminished over time.
Feedback from the owners of Xiyuan Villa: Upon the completion of the project, the space revealed a rare narrative coherence; from the tactile sensation of the furniture to the interplay of light and shadow on the decorative pieces, every element exudes an air of supreme luxury. Even after enduring a prolonged rainy season, all metal components remain mirror-bright, and the rugs and fabrics have retained their original dry, crisp texture. As the owners remarked: “You provided us with more than just a set of furniture; through the precise integration of every category, you have curated an artistic living ecosystem for our grand residence—one that not only withstands the forces of nature but also possesses enduring collectible value.”
