Case description

Our factory supplied all the primary dining area furnishings and custom decorative furniture for Leen’s Restaurant, located within the City Centre Mirdif mall in Dubai. The project was positioned as a modern fusion concept, emphasizing a blend of urban sophistication and natural comfort, and required furniture that served both functional and decorative purposes.

In the initial stages of the project, the client faced several distinct challenges: the restaurant space was compact, and traditional decorative ornaments consumed valuable floor area while incurring high maintenance costs, making it difficult to achieve a cohesive visual aesthetic. Furthermore, given the high foot traffic and rapid table turnover typical of mall dining environments, standard off-the-shelf furniture would be prone to staining and wear, failing to strike the necessary balance between aesthetics and durability. Finally, the design brief called for organic curves and natural textures—requirements that standardized products could not meet—making it difficult to achieve stylistic unity and establish a strong brand identity.

To address these specific needs, we developed a custom solution centered on the core philosophy that “furniture serves as decoration.” For the dining area, we crafted tables and chairs featuring fluid, organic curves—achieving precise contours through a combination of CNC machining and meticulous hand-finishing. The upholstered elements were clad in commercial-grade, triple-protection fabrics (stain-resistant, abrasion-resistant, and easy to clean) to withstand the rigors of high-frequency commercial use. Simultaneously, we seamlessly integrated decorative elements into the furniture design itself; we created custom wooden screens, metal display racks, and wall fixtures that harmonized stylistically with the tables and chairs. This approach allowed the furniture to become the primary visual focal point of the space—effectively replacing standalone decorative objects—thereby conserving floor area and enhancing the overall ambiance. By ensuring material consistency and visual continuity across all products, we achieved a profound fusion of functionality and aesthetics.

Upon the project’s completion, the space exuded a unified stylistic coherence and a strong artistic sensibility. The furniture proved to be both durable and low-maintenance, fully meeting the demanding operational requirements of a high-traffic mall dining venue.
