Case Description
Our factory supplied the primary office furniture for the new headquarters and logistics operations dispatch center of Saudi Post (SPL), covering the executive offices, logistics command and control center, cross-border e-commerce service area, client reception zone, and employee lounge and collaboration areas.
As a long-standing institution operated by the Saudi government, Saudi Post is currently transitioning to its new identity as SPL, striving to build a global logistics platform while aligning with Saudi Vision 2030. Its core challenge lay in finding office furniture that could balance the dignified gravitas of a government agency with the efficiency and convenience required for e-commerce logistics. The furniture needed to accommodate the high-frequency operational demands of cross-border logistics dispatch and e-commerce order processing, while simultaneously integrating local Saudi cultural elements to align with regional aesthetics and religious norms. Furthermore, it had to withstand Saudi Arabia’s hot, arid, and dusty climate. Traditional office furniture proved inadequate for the flexible collaborative needs of logistics dispatch; materials were prone to cracking and dust accumulation due to the climate, and such furniture failed to reconcile cultural appropriateness with operational efficiency. Moreover, a fragmented procurement approach would have risked inconsistent quality and delayed delivery—issues incompatible with the global logistics platform positioning envisioned for the organization post-transformation.
Leveraging our capabilities as a direct-source manufacturer—specifically our expertise in cross-border customization and technical innovation—we developed targeted solutions to resolve these multifaceted challenges. We selected eco-friendly board materials engineered to resist cracking and dust accumulation, incorporating sealed construction techniques to minimize dust accumulation. All furniture underwent rigorous specialized testing—including assessments for heat resistance, abrasion resistance, and environmental compliance—to ensure its suitability for Saudi Arabia’s climatic conditions. Simultaneously, we integrated cultural elements—such as traditional Arabic geometric patterns—to strike a balance between institutional dignity and local aesthetics, while strictly avoiding any cultural taboos. For the logistics dispatch area, we designed custom modular collaboration desks and concealed cable management systems to facilitate order processing and global logistics coordination. The executive offices were furnished with a custom suite featuring a simple yet stately aesthetic, befitting the image of a government institution. The cross-border e-commerce service area was equipped with flexible, modular furniture configurations to accommodate future business expansion needs. Finally, we established a dedicated cross-border logistics and localized installation system to ensure the precise delivery and professional installation of the entire furniture consignment.
Upon the project’s completion, the office space successfully embodies Saudi Post’s heritage as a government institution while aligning with SPL’s new positioning as a logistics platform following its transformation. The furniture is tailored to accommodate diverse office scenarios—featuring high heat resistance, dust-proof properties, stability, and durability—and demonstrates a strong cultural resonance. This design effectively enhances the efficiency of logistics dispatch and office collaboration, thereby facilitating the implementation of the National Address System and helping to resolve bottlenecks in cross-border e-commerce logistics. The project has garnered high acclaim from both Saudi Post’s operations team and relevant government agencies, who recognized that the furniture design precisely meets their transformation requirements and local cultural sensibilities, perfectly echoing their aspirations to establish a global logistics platform. Consequently, the firm has become a core partner for customized office furniture solutions throughout Saudi Post’s transformative journey.
